Here I will tell you exactly what our FREE diagnostics check is and why we offer it when very few others do.

First off, this company was not formed to make money, it was formed so that people like yourself are able to pick up the phone and have help at the other end, no matter what your problem. (Everybody knows the common phrases, we don't do Mac's or try calling this guy)

We feel that it would be unfair for us to charge you just to look at your computer without doing any repairs, the car sales man don't charge you for a test drive, so we feel that we shouldn't to let you know the problem.

But this is not the only reason, after many years of trading with very happy customers we noticed that due to the range of equipment we have, our repair ability, and the many well priced suppliers we use, we are able to repair an impressive 98% of repairs within the customers price range.  We have no reason at all to scare you off with diagnostics charges.

We also noted that many of the companies that did charge diagnostics fees were very limited in their repair ability and this was their way to make some money to be able to say "uneconomical repair" Very, and I mean very rarely do we say that.

Whats included?

Now, you must be wondering what it is that we exactly check, well we start with checking your hard drive (the place where everything is stored) we do this as the hard drive is for most people the most important part of a computer, as the contents are normally irreplaceable.  Checking the hard drive is not a 5 minute check as todo it correctly it can take several hours, we then move on to checking the system itself for any corruptions, virus', spyware, problems within the registry, etc and then we move on to checking the rest of the computer, often by linking the computer up to our diagnostics machine which checks each and every componant for failure; we then complete the diagnostics by checking to see if we can speed it up for you or to see if we think you may need any software.  We then give you a call to give you a clear break down of the costs of each repair and you can choose what you would like to repair.

We do sometimes get the odd few who are are certain that their computer is running completely fine and no diagnostics needs to be done, while sometimes this is the case, we do find that most of these do have problems hidden away and if left unrepaired can cause further more expensive problems down the line.

As you can imagion, you would not be very happy if you just purchased new RAM or an upgraded hard drive to find out two weeks later that the logic board has failed.  This is why we do a diagnostics on each and every computer as standard.
